Steven is a European cinematographer based in Los Angeles, working across commercials, feature films, documentaries, and television shows - wherever the story calls.

After earning a First Class Honors degree in Physics, he swapped equations for light, eventually shooting hundreds of award-winning productions in 78 countries.

His collaborations span campaigns and narratives for top studios, networks, and brands worldwide. From Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount+, Warner Brothers, Village Roadshow, National Geographic, and Discovery+ to Gucci, Savage X Fenty, Oliver Peoples, Hugo Boss, Max Factor, Panasonic, Swarovski, Pagani, Virgin Galactic, Adidas Y-3, and Red Bull.

He has lit Academy Award winners Gwyneth Paltrow and Jared Leto, captured icons like Rihanna, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot, Sharon Stone, Jennifer Lopez, Gerard Butler, and supermodels Candice Swanepoel, Miranda Kerr, and Olga Kurylenko.

Steven also takes on Executive Producer roles for select productions with strong creative or social impact, championing stories that go beyond entertainment. When possible, he teaches cinematography as a guest lecturer across universities in Europe, Asia, and the U.S., a reflection of his global path and dual citizenship, rooted in both European origins and an American home.

When not on set, Steven is likely exploring a beautiful corner of our world - filming a hard-hitting documentary passion project or immersed in meditation, cooking, hiking, reading, or yoga.
